Persepolis is the  Greek name for the  ancient city of Parse, located seventy miles northeast of  Shiraz in present-day  Iran. The name  Parse meant "City of The  Persians" and its construction began at the site in 518 BCE under the rule of  King Darius the Great.  Darius made Parse the new  capital of the Persian  Empire, instead of Pasargadae, the old capital and burial place of King Cyrus the Great . سال 518 پیش از میلاد داریوش فرمان به ساخت  کوشک شاهانه‌ای در سرزمین فارس داد تا  ایرانیان اولین بنایی را برپا سازند که بتواند هزاران سال نمادی از صلح و برابری و وحدت جهانی باشد. بناهای باشکوه و شگفت انگیز  پارسه بر صخره بزرگی در کوه مهر در دشت  مرودشت ساخته شد و به عنوان پایتخت  شاهنشاهی هخامنشیان جایگزین پاسارگاد ،  پایتخت سابق و محل دفن  کوروش بزرگ، شد.   منبع: به اشتراک گذاری این صفحه
